About NZC
New Zealand Cricket (NZC) is the national governing body for cricket in New Zealand, overseeing the Black Caps and White Ferns and the Super Smash league.
Founded in 1894, New Zealand Cricket runs the men’s (Black Caps) and women’s (White Ferns) national teams and the domestic structure, including the Plunket Shield and the Super Smash T20 competition.
As a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in the Oceania region, New Zealand Cricket (NZC) represents New Zealand in world cricket. It oversees the New Zealand men (Black Caps) and New Zealand women (White Ferns) teams, and organises domestic competitions such as Plunket Shield, Ford Trophy and Super Smash, and manages major tournaments including Super Smash.
