Our commitment

CricInnings publishes cricket news, live scores, match analysis and player information for readers across India and the world. Every story we publish is expected to be accurate, fair, clearly sourced and useful. This policy explains the standards our editorial team works to.

Accuracy & sourcing

We base reporting on primary and reputable sources — official cricket boards, recognised statistical data providers, on-record statements and verified match data. Scores, scorecards and standings are drawn from our data partners and are updated as matches progress. Where a claim cannot be verified, we either attribute it clearly to its source or do not publish it.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial interests. Advertising and sponsored placements are clearly distinguishable from editorial content, and advertisers have no influence over how we report the news.

Authorship & attribution

Articles carry a byline linking to the author's profile, along with the publish date and, where relevant, the last-updated date. Quotes, statistics and third-party material are attributed to their original source.

Use of AI tools

We may use AI-assisted tools to help with drafting, summarising or formatting. All such content is reviewed and edited by a human before publication, and editorial responsibility always rests with our team.

Corrections & feedback

If you spot an error, we want to fix it. See our Corrections Policy and our Fact-Check Policy, or write to us at [email protected].
