About ECB
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is the governing body for cricket in England and Wales, overseeing the national teams and professional county cricket.
Formed in 1997 and based at Lord’s in London, the ECB runs the England men’s and women’s teams and oversees the professional and recreational game across England and Wales. It administers the County Championship, the T20 Blast, the One-Day Cup and the 100-ball competition, The Hundred.
As a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in the Europe region, England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) represents England & Wales in world cricket. It oversees the England men and England women teams, and organises domestic competitions such as County Championship, T20 Blast, One-Day Cup and The Hundred, and manages major tournaments including The Hundred and T20 Blast.
